Hot Take: Reality is often opposite of the Internet. What's the basis for my controversial thesis? From time to time in reality, strangers will approach me in public places to say nice stuff about the various things I do for a living. My first response is usually about how much their kind words mean to me. My immediate follow up is "Do you wanna take a picture? Let's memorialize this moment!" 9 times out of 10, I'm saying this to someone with a camera in their hand at the ready. But every once in awhile, the folks will reply "Oh, I'm not allowed," based on wherever we may be (airport security, theme parks, casinos). That's when I say "You're not asking ME, I'm asking YOU. I'll put this on @Instagram or @Twitter so you can find it." These are four of those fine folks.
