We're in Cape Town this week for a preview visit of Heatherwick Studio's most ambitious project to date, the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa. Built in 1921 as a grain silo, it was the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere for half a century. The interior has now been excavated and reconfigured into a soaring atrium and more than 80 gallery spaces, which will constitute the largest contemporary art museum on the African continent when it opens in late September
