Today The Princess Royal visited the Yangtze Cetacean Breeding and Research Centre to see the endangered Yangtze River Finless Porpoise.
The Yangtze River Finless Porpoise has been recognised among the most threatened mammals in the world.
HRH also saw the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Wuhan Institute of Hydrobiology and University College London's, Institute of Zoology.
Later, The Princess Royal met Hubei Party Secretary Jiang Chaoliang and other senior government officials.
