Today we focused on what I call "no results necessary" intimacy. Amazing things happen when we remove the pressure to deliver, connect, perform, progress, or repeat a previous moment. Today was about radical acceptance of ourselves and each other by being together without any wants or needs, which builds trust and the feeling that maybe we actually are "enough." My therapist once said "love is not earned" and although it sounded insane to me at the time, today I realized she is very very right about that.
