Wow! Never knew authentic Peruvian cuisine is so globalized, or more precisely speaking, deeply influenced by various cultures and community groups like Cantonese, Italians and Japanese. 走国际化路线 ? And best of all, the dishes are all well-executed. Perhaps can consider saving $$ on traveling to those countries and just head to @tonocevicheria for good food
Here are some highlights:
1) Jalea (crispy seafood with tapioca chips, salsa criollo, and smoked chilli mayo)
2) Lomo Saltado (Traditiknal stir fried beef in a light and dark soy with fresh red chillies and red wine vinegar. Like Cantonese wok-fried beef)
3) Aguadito (Rice in Coriander and cumin soup with crispy rice, chicken, pumpkin >> tastes like Hainanese-Indian curry fusion)
4) Solterito (crispy white fish and potato mash, Fava beans and feta cheese. Said to be inspired by Japanese potato salad but this tastes so much better than it)
