@ben_toms has released a series of surreal postcards inspired by adaptive mimicry, camouflage and disguise. Each comes paired with an intriguing factual context – like detailing the first use of plastic bottles or the mechanics of scissors created for left-handed people.

The project launches today at the @sfartbookfair, and will also be available at @owlcave Books in San Francisco and owlcavebooks.com.
