SENIOR SUNDAY! @susiesseniordogs wants to introduce you to Maddie! "Lovely and dignified 10 year old Maddie finds herself on our version of Match.com at this phase of life. 'Oy,' says Maddie. But it's so important to remember the joy of senior dogs who know what's-the-what and won't keep you up at night like their younger counterparts, puppies. Maddie is struggling to get matched up simply due to her age, but we're here to tell you that falling in love with a senior dog is a really special experience! Many people are hesitant to do so for different reasons, but ask anyone who's adopted a senior dog and they'll always tell you it is worth it.
Maddie is a 67 pound coonhound mix who is at the @marinhumane shelter in northern California. She was surrendered by her former owner because they weren't giving her the attention and time she needs, and Maddie doesn't like to be alone for long periods of time. She absolutely loves to be around family members as much as possible, and she is especially good with little children. Maddie loves kids! She will eagerly accompany you on your daily routine; even the most boring of errands Maddie is happy to tag along. She would prefer to be the only dog at home so she can cash in on all the love and cuddles you have offer. So if you have no other pets, Maddie is a great match for you!
