So I just finished reading @アンジー・マルチネス 's MY VOICE. As a writer I'm crazy critical of celebrity memoirs, believing that "we all have lanes". I can not hate, this book was like having a conversation with your homie, THE VOICE OF NEW YORK. I laughed, I cried, I was mad into the drama and bochinche. I couldn't get enough and I didn't put it down. Ang, by far some of my favorite parts of the book were when you interviewed #Tupac, when you left Hot, when you found love and when you ran the marathon. This memoir was written with so much care, so much love, so much honesty, so much realness... you that b*&^%. I was moved. Inspired. People like you, like those of us who do what we love everyday without even knowing if it's made a difference. You HAVE made a difference. I am so happy to have brought your book with me on vacation / "research trip"--I'm supposed to be working on my novel. I wish you could have seen the couple sitting next me as I read the part about you as "rain man" I literally was laughing to tears and the woman next to me just smiled. I almost fell off my chair. She has NO idea who you are at this random ass cafe in Valencia, Spain, but I bet she's gonna buy your book. Thank you for sharing your story. What a wonderful read. *
