Happy birthday to #DavidHammons! We're proud to have included a piece by Hammons in our 1989 exhibition, "Strange Attractors: Signs of Chaos." Titled "A Fan," the video sculpture included an interview with Malcolm X, and was included alongside other works that emphasized imbalance, loss of control, and social and natural upheaval.
