We visited one of @smiletrainph 's partner hospitals the other day. Aside from showing me the process they do for potential cleft lip and palate surgeries, I also got to see many patients that came back for checkups. Some were back for dental work, others for speech therapy and other previous patients were there to volunteer in assisting parents and children. ? What really spiked my interest was the "play room" where the young ones come to play. What they don't know is that they are already being guided with their speech therapy. Great to see young interns from UST being a part of this!
