We're happy to announce #LisaLangseth's #Euphoria starring #EvaGreen & #AliciaVikander will have its world premiere at this year's #TorontoFilmFestival. Euphoria will screen under the Platform section and will compete for the Platform Prize, to be awarded by this year's jury which will include award-winning filmmakers #MalgorzataSzumowska, #ChenKaige and #WimWenders.

The Platform section is #TIFF's director-driven program that aims to showcase original names in international cinema. This year's Platform section lineup will have 12 films from eight countries on five continents. All competing films in the Platform section are eligible for the Toronto Platform Prize ($25,000 CAD) made possible by @エールフランス. The 12 competing films are the following:

The Platform Prize winner will be announced at the TIFF Awards ceremony on September 17, 2017. Festival runs September 7-17 in Toronto, Canada.

FUN FACT: This year's Oscar Best Picture winner #MOONLIGHT screened at last year's TIFF Platform section.
