Simplicity... I felt it was time to take a step back and just enjoy life. Spend time with my family and reevaluate where I was at both mentally, creatively, and spiritually. After months of rejuvenation, it was time to get back in the studio. First came 'Rejoice'. Rejoice’ is the most powerful piecees of music I've ever created. It wasn't written to fill a void or accomplish status - this is pure motivation, inspiration and honesty expressed by an incredible bishop that changed me completely. I've never done anything like it and I've never worked with words that meant more in my entire career. This record is ground-breaking for me as an individual. It came into my life when I needed it the most and I had to make that moment last forever by immortalizing it. Then came 'Breaking Kind'. It's one of my favourite songs on the album. Incredible melody and writing and the vocal performance floored me the first time I heard it. It represents the soundtrack of my life. Melodically and musically it hits every emotion I have for display. It moves me. If you take some time to listen to both of these songs, I hope they impact you as positively as they have for me. S-A
