There was no readily available access to Castle Moil in the Strait of Kyle Akin, Skye, Scotland at midnight and so with my camera positioned on shore with my good friend/Nat Geo photographer Bob Smith, I Lightpainted the iconic ruin from a small fishing boat located about a half mile from the Harbour and 200 yards Off Camera /Off Shore.
