I'm pressed to tell you, that making it in NYC as a small, female biz owner/writer may look glamorous and blissful... it's not all roses. Forget the perfect images we post, it's not all real....
Perhaps some of us are tested more than others, but I can tell you my path has been windy, bumpy, steep, gritty & tough af.
As of late, I've been tested more than ever before. I felt sorry for myself for about 30 minutes + then I had no choice but to move forward & look up, using kaizen.
I've had to step up my ways & handle business in a whole new way, taking on more responsibilities & setting even higher goals.
I don't think there was another option.
If I told you I moved to NYC seven years ago, with a suitcase + a dream... only enough money to get a studio in the east village, and I ended up writing 6 books here & I'm still writing for all the mags... I can show you, you can do anything.
Work with kaizen, continuously improve, please don't lose sight of the path or choose the path of least resistance. The challenges are what change you. Go.
