‘At the Edge of the World, in the West’ | The Nile Ecoyarn stands on the time-weathered sea cliffs at Rhoscolyn, Isle of Angelsey, Northern Wales. The name is said to mean ‘the Moor’ (Rhos) of ‘the Column’ (colyn) in reference to a pillar put in place by the Romans as a marker of the extent of their territories, conceiving similar points across the West coast of modern day Spain and Portugal to be the edge of the known world.
