@Allure announced it would no longer use the term “anti-aging,” squashing the notion that aging is something that should be avoided and resisted as though it’s a condition that drains away beauty and rather calling it something that should be celebrated and embraced. It’s a bold move by the mag, one we can only hope catches on. As cover star @HelenMirren put it, women “know we’re getting older. You just want to look and feel as great as you can on a daily basis.⠀
