Blood makes up about 7% of your body weight. It's so interesting to think that we were created in such a way that we have EXTRA, reserve blood in our bodies just hanging around in case we need it for an emergency, AND THEN SOME...
Could you imagine if we didn't? If we were only created with just the right amount, nobody could donate...
And that means if you were to have an accident of any kind, the hospital wouldn't have any extra blood available for you... What would you do?
but the miraculous thing is that we DO have enough for ourselves, AND a little extra to share, so we can help our other people out there :) ✊? it definitely feels like we were meant to... And did ya Also know that your body is totally fine to give up to 6 times a year?!?! What?! It's pretty darn exciting knowing we're capable of helping A LOT, and all we have to do is just show up,
because our bodies do the rest!

PS - I was kind of nervous beforehand, but it ended up being TOTALLY fun! Honestly can't wait to give again and help out soon! Also excited to hear yall's donation stories ??❤️
And hopefully, I get to see some donation pics from you guys too soon!!!! ??? (That bag in my hand is a Pint, 1 pound, of my blood! It was a pretty cute little bag ?)
