Happy to host Turkish PM Binali Yıldırım (@tc_basbakan), who is here for an official visit, to dinner at the Istana last night.
Earlier, we had announced the ratification of the Turkey-Singapore Free Trade Agreement. It was signed in November 2015 on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Antalya. Greater access and connectivity will mean more opportunities for businesses.
Mr Yıldırım and I also exchanged views on the threat of terrorism, and ways to strengthen our bilateral ties. Hope to do more with Turkey and bring our friendship to new heights. ?? ?? I have visited Istanbul, Ankara, and Antalya for work, and enjoyed the warm hospitality of the Turkish people.
