All natural disasters/tragedies like this are devastating and awful but Texas holds a special place in my heart as my late mother was from Corpus Christi and I've spent a lot of time in this incredible state. Please do what you can: volunteer, donate money, band together to do unto others what you would hope they would do unto you. ??Thank you to my immeasurable wife for posting this initially. ❤️#?? ••••

We made some friends down in Texas for Big Game Big Give event in Houston last year. Reposting the message below from one of them.... Been praying for all those who have been affected by these tragic circumstances and am donating so I can do my part from afar. I was born and raised in the beautiful country of Australia. A country of strong, proud people who would give the shirt off their backs to help a neighbor in need. I now live in the USA, in the great state of Texas. Also a place full of strong, proud people, willing to give the shirt off their backs to help a neighbor in need. Please pray for my state, as we are enduring major hurricane winds and tornadoes right now. Friends of mine have had to evacuate their homes, taking on water by the hour. Even one of our local news stations @khou11 got flooded on air and had to evacuate! #HurricaneHarvey may be bringing on crazy wind and water, but Texas is known for banding together in times like this. #TexasStrong #prayfortexas #prayersfortexas #prayforhouston
