Picking up the mail and having a package greet me from @galen_leather is the loveliest way to return home from an epic journey and a turn of a year spent in NYC. I'm not quite the same upon leaving the Big Apple as the experience grew me, pulled at me, humbled and yet empowered. One thing that I learned about was VALUE and what that means to me in its various cylinders and layers. I find it fitting that my first welcome home came from one of my favorite brands. The story of how @galen_leather began is a compelling one of real tragedy and an awesome overcoming triumph (you can read about it on their website). I can tangibly feel the craftsmanship, care, heart and soul that goes into every product that they make by hand. One thing that I really appreciate about the folks at Galen is how they take care of longtime customers just as they would new ones and that is one thing that is sure to make me a loyalist for the long haul. I can't sing my praises for them enough here.
