GREAT NEWS!!! I'm interrupting this cat nap to give thumbs up to Cornell! ?????
I recently learned that @cornellvet 's small animal hospital in New York has stopped declawing!
Apparently, they realized that declawing is never beneficial to cats and therefore falls below the scope of good veterinary medicine. ?
PLEASE take a moment to write Cornell and their Cornell Feline Health Center and tell them how proud you are of them for making the right decision. ??
Their emails are... vet-hosp@cornell.edu and FHC@cornell.edu
Also give them lots of cyber love on their facebook pages!! This will undoubtedly help in the battle to make New York the most humane state when we begin again in 2018 to ask NYS legislators to ban declawing. ??
