On top of Longs and 8 hours into the Longs Peak Triathlon. This is one of Colorados classic big day outings first conceived by Rodger Briggs (I think) We started in Boulder on bikes, rode 43 miles (from Mikes house) to the trailhead. Hiked in, climbed a classic route on the diamond. Then raced back to Boulder. Not sure if I would have made the time if it weren't for this badass dad Mike Moelter convincing me. In all we traveled about 100 miles and gained 9000 feet in elevation.
