#FBF to last week in Hawaii. I'm posting this to address a lot of my fellow MS people and your questions about how I travel.. I'm going to be completely honest, it is NOT easy. In fact, the past 2 months have been some of the hardest of my life for so many reasons, and I am so grateful that I have the people I do in my life that pushed me to get out of the house and make this trip. It involved so many people holding me, and sitting with me, helping me in and out of the ocean, up and down the stairs, having my stroller wherever I went for the longer walks across the resort.. I want my son to feel my presence and live a full life, despite the fact that a lot of the time I don't even want to leave my room. I am so grateful that I can afford this trip and have the friends and husband I do, that help me every step of the way. This trip still had some tears.. when I was just frustrated that I couldn't do it all on my own, but in the end I did it. And I'm so happy I did, because it was the trip of a lifetime. I hope this inspires some of you to push past your "boundaries" and give life a chance. It may not be as pretty as you want, but the water feels just as good as I remember.
