When I was little I remember dad telling me that when he was a high jumper, he could jump higher than my bunk bed. I thought that was the most incredible feat ever. A few years later, dad taught me how to Fosbury flop, then later watched me win my first New Zealand Secondary School title. I loved jumping so much that I started pole vault and the rest is history. It's fair to say that I got my jumping gene and inspiration from dad. Thank you for shaping me into the athlete and person I am now. Happy Father's Day dad ❤️
