The mitzvah wall at @lagustasluscious in New Paltz makes me so happy. You can treat anyone to a meal, drink or anything else. Just pay it forward at the counter and then write a note and leave it for someone to find. Some people leave notes for specific people (teachers, students, friends) who live locally and others leave notes that offer up coffee and the like for those with rescue pets, stressed out parents who need a lift or people who have been outside and need to warm up (and much more). I love this little moment of community support and love, even more, when businesses find a way to work community support into their everyday business model ❤️
