The first time in history that a Horned Guan is hand raised. These are super endangered beings, even more endangered than a Panda Bear, a Rhino or a Gorilla. And you've seen them grow up all along. I just couldn't give you the name of the species before. We released2 of them into the wild (Also the first time in history that this happens) 4 weeks ago in our joint program with The Mexican Government @semarnat_mexico and @profepa_mx These 2 individuals will not be released, they'll be used to reproduce them and have more Birds. From 4 that we had, now we have 17 (Counting 4 eggs and the 2 that we released)...

Liberamos 2 hace un mes en nuestro programa con @semarnat_mexico y @profepa_mx Esta es la primera vez que se libera un Pavon y estos 2 de la foto son los primeros en la historia en ser criados a mano. Y ustedes los vieron crecer desde bebés...
