I feel bad for troops.
Soldiers of course -
who are brainwashed
and used
while profiteers
sit in their comfortable homes -
I've visited many bases
around the world.
Not to support war
but young men -
I've seen such fear in the eyes
of 19 yr old men on airfcraft carriers
about to be deployed.
I'll never forget those boys.
At one point I tried refusing to pay taxes -
For military expenditure -
war tax resistance -
but too complicated - over my head.
I had to pay in the end -
It was very scary
