Perched on a wall of the old fortress looking down at the terracotta rooftops of Kotor in Montenegro. The city walls date back to medieval times, built in the 9th century to protect Kotor from invaders. There are 1350 steps to the top - tough hike but worth it for the views over the beautiful bay!
