We're closed this Tuesday to install our fall exhibitions—but on Wednesday, our newest exhibition, "Helen Johnson: Ends," opens to the public! It's the first US museum presentation of the Australian artist's work. For over a decade, Johnson has used painting as a tool to investigate issues around the legacy of colonialism, the construction of national identity, personal history, and contemporary politics in Australia. Johnson has produced a new series of works for this exhibition, in which she uses her signature approach to address wider themes and concerns.
