On the last day of #WeWantedaRevolution we are spending time with #CarrieMaeWeems’s Family Reunion from her Family Pictures and Stories (1978-84) series. A deeply felt and realistic account of black family life in the U.S., the series was intended to refute the highly controversial government report titled The Negro Family: The Case for National Action from 1965.
