@mrsdaniellephillips: Almost all of my memories of camping and hiking as a child are set in National Parks, but most of my favorite moments took place here, in Olympic National Park.
Every summer, as a family, we'd pack up the Jeep, catch the ferry, and drive down to Sol Duc Hot Springs for a forced family vacation in the woods. It was here, in @olympicnationalpark where I was crowned a Junior Ranger, and given a badge! (which I'm pretty sure I'm still have somewhere) It's these memories that stick out in my mind as the foundation of my love for the outdoors, and the beautiful Pacific Northwest...

Recently, I had the pleasure of venturing back to @olympicnationalpark with my husband and getting to see Lake Crescent and the surrounding peaks from a different perspective. It was exhilarating, empowering, and beyond beautiful.... and it's these reasons why, Olympic National Park, means so much to me. ✨
