Five years ago, artist Olafur Eliasson (@studioolafureliasson) launched the Little Sun project (@littlesunenergy) with the mission of making solar powered lights available to the 1.1 billion people in the world living without electricity. Since its inception, Little Sun has been able to distribute over 500,000 solar lamps to those in situations without access to power.

This week, Eliasson joined MoMA PS1 director and MoMA Chief Curator at Large Klaus Biesenbach (@klausbiesenbach) at the MoMA Design Store to launch #LittleSunDiamond, as a @momastore US exclusive, which will serve to continue the mission of Little Sun. Learn more: mo.ma/2fyvnAh
