Meet #Frida, the star of the Mexican Navy's (@semar_mx) Canine Unit. She has rescued 53 people so far. With special and constant training, Frida now holds the title of Missing Persons Searching Specialist, with experience in #Honduras, #Ecuador, #Haiti and #Mexico. Because she is the most experienced, she is also teaching her abilities to two other dogs younger than her, so they can take over her work. Frida wears protective gear to fulfill her rescue duties, which includes a visor to protect her eyes in case there’s smoke, dust, or any toxic substance, booties so her paws are protected from the terrain, and a harness.
