Maybe it's the lack of sleep, or maybe it's cause I'm a mom, or maybe it's the pour of my wine glass, but I'm in tears as I post this. I was watching my story before I went to bed and this one instantly sent me into tears. Today I took her to the farmers market in studio city and she just kept pointing to the horses. I thought she was prolly too young to ride but when I said she was 20 months they told me she was okay to get on. I hesitated at first but she was screaming to get on. I insisted that I stood beside her and walk around with her but I realized when we went around one time, she didn't need me. She didn't need me to hold her hand or make sure she was okay. She wanted to ride this horse all by herself. She was fearless. So I backed away and pressed play and this is what she did. She waved to me. My little girl is growing up before my eyes. It's going so fast but to see the independent loving girl she is growing into makes this momma so proud.
