Holy clam! ? @andrewwatsonphoto stumbled across this giant clam at #AgincourtReef off the coast of @tropicalnorthqueensland - what an extraordinary encounter! These mammoth molluscs can grow up to 1.5 metres in length and weigh close to 200 kilograms, which is perhaps why they are named as one of the #GreatBarrierReef's 'Great Eight' marine creatures.
