The world is a crazy place right now, and we have seen the change that can happen when we take action.
A month ago, I was honored to join The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation and the United Nations Foundation’s Nothing But Nets campaign on a trip to Malawi to see first-hand the work they are doing in partnership to tackle two deadly diseases that burden communities around the world – HIV and Malaria.
I saw first hand how effective this partnership is. The donations that come in be will used to put in more mobile clinics to help diagnose and treat illnesses so that we can keep them from spreading and keep people from dying.
The partnership between ETAF and NBN is a strategic approach to offering holistic care, tackling two deadly diseases that plague families and cripple communities.
The goal of this partnership is fight both diseases simultaneously and empower a community to become healthy - for kids to be able to attend school, for parents to be well enough to work, and for the community to thrive. By combining the resources of both organizations, we hope to see increased and sustained impact.
