If I were to choose which one is my favourite, it would definitely be the Bolide 27 in Etain. But I guess what makes Birkin so attractive is the story behind the bag, not to mention how difficult it is to get these days. Hermes has a blind stamp of year and craftsperson who made it. Mine is stamped M in square which means it was made in 2009. Back in the days it was easier to get, maybe because it was right after the Financial crisis. I would ask for a Birkin at the Hermes boutique in Tokyo and they would show me five of them in different size and color. So this Etoupe 25 was the one I purchased. I will always remember this one that I bought it in Christmas 2009. Just after I got my bonus to tap myself in the back for the hard work.
