The chimichurri sauce they serve with the steak is out of this world. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Japanese: #Rakuen - hidden gem of an izakaya in a commercial building in the bustling Causeway Bay district. They serve everything from sashim to noodles to yakitori. Everything about this place is authentic - I always feel like I'm in Tokyo when I go there. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Chinese: Kiangsu Chekiang and Shanghai Residents (HK) Association Restaurant - this is an old-school private club hidden in the heart of Central. I've been going here since I was a kid - it's my absolute favorite #Shanghainese restaurant in Hong Kong. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Southeast Asian: #Hawkr - it's a healthy South East Asian inspired grab and go chain started by my close friends Ivan Pun, Mina Park and Jake Astor. All the restaurants there serve authentic Korean, it's the best you can get in town!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Indian: #CaptainsBar at the #MandarinOriental - They serve an excellent curry lunch. It comes in a tiered tiffin, and service is fast - great for a quick lunch. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Favourite home delivery service: J. #Deliveroo - they have the best restaurant selection.
