Next stop on our #DRONEWEEK tour: the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai. Dubai has an average of 300 sunny days a year. That makes it an ideal place to capture #solarenergy. We’re providing a critical piece of the puzzle—the inverter. Inverters convert the direct-current electricity produced by the solar panels into alternating current that can then generate up to 5,000MW of power. When this solar park is completed in 2030 it will be the largest installation of its kind in the region, providing enough power for 250,000 homes in Dubai. Swipe through for an insider’s look.
