Watching her immersed in the simplest of things is so beautiful. She spent 20 minutes like this while the sun set just now, exploring. Running sand through her fingers, touching it, squeezing it, digging and drawing lines with her fingers. 100% present and in awe (and not once putting it in her mouth!). And today she said MAMMA.
