Los Angeles-based Carmen Argote is a multidisciplinary artist working in sculpture, painting, photography, video, and performance. Many of her explorations originate from her own experiences with inhabited spaces. Currently on view in Home—So Different, So Appealing, her 720 Sq. Ft.: Household Mutations (2011) is a large-scale installation suspended from the ceiling and extended onto an open gallery floor.
