Greetings from New York. I am taking a week off to hang out with my sister @miiakaro and do a teacher training in @foundationtraining . Not many of you knew but Pilates and movement is my other passion and I have a little studio in #Dorset. So next 8 days there might be a set of more story telling posts, as I am not distracted by running a household of 2 kids, 3 dogs, 3 horses and work. Today I am starting the series to give advise to those couples who are in the process of booking a photographer or debating how much budget should they allocate to photos. Let me tell u something. I just love the creativity of all the photographers and the hard work they do capturing the moments of your beautiful day. I have told my story before... Our photographer was utterly useless, my son good take better pictures. The one we booked cancelled a day before and passed the job to his friend. There was no time to look for her credentials and she even missed the boat to our venue so delayed the start of the wedding!!!Hence we only have few images to show from our wedding date, the best pics being taken by quests with disposable cameras positioned on each table ? Wedding photos are the most important items ( and the dress ❤️) left from your day alongside memories. The memories will be more vivid and real with proper images. So don’t skimp on wedding photos. Find a photographer that you click with as it will be a long term relationship. Browse blogs such as @lovemydress who post daily the work of some amazing talented photographers. And finally, book early!! The photographer and venue should be the first ones on your list to book!!! The good ones gets snapped up quickly!!!#weddingphotography
