Next Friday night, @rhizomedotorg will mark the conclusion of Chapter Two of its ongoing project, the Net Art Anthology. Artists and scholars David Joselit, Aria Dean, Mariam Ghani, and Eva and Franco Mattes will discuss and present digital work, including art by Seth Price and William Pope.L.
Together, the works presented reflect a moment in which artists were beginning to reckon with the internet as a pervasive social and cultural force, setting up lines of inquiry that remain equally urgent in the present.
