Had to have a deep and meaningful conversation with myself after trying this on. Plastic ain't fantastic (duh!) so why do I even want/like this? If i thought turning plastic into a lustworthy luxury, to be saved up for, cherished and passed down -like, say, women once did with fur, before we all woke up to reality- then I could get behind this idea. Unfortunately the fast fashion cycle also means that anything covetable is then produced 'en masse' on the high street. Its a catch 22. Imagine all the things in Zara's already overflowing aisles covered in extra plastic (adding still more after u count packing etc...). Please, no! I put the sexxxy @Calvin Klein lifeproof trench back, and opted instead for a gorgeous green velvet @simonerocha_ coat. But I see the value in your reasoning (and the beauty of your work), Raf.
