Happy Birthday, Nicolo Paganini! ?? With this opportunity I want to talk about this video that was first published on Facebook in January this year. I am glad that I brought joy to some people with this recording of mine, but what's not displayed on screen is how worried I was to put this on the internet (in fact we almost didn't put this up because I was too unsure/insecure), & most of it is due to me being scared to be judged. ______________________________________ But you know what? Looking back, I think my attitude of fear was BS & was due to me seeing so many people on social media only putting their most perfect music clips up - & sure, why would you want to put a bad/mediocre clip of yourself on the internet? It stays on there forever! Right?... ...I do understand this mindset, but I think social media accounts that happens on end up being an unhealthy & one-sided environment for the audience to view. I also get frustrated, insecure, get stage fear sometimes, procrastinate big time & so do other online persona/performers you follow or who don't have social media. People just choose to keep it private, & that made me feel shitty & worried to put my spin on Paganini 5 online back then - which is sad! I should show my artistry because it is worth it even if there's only 1 person appreciating it. & I promise you I will show more of what's going on behind the curtain. One thing to keep in mind is also that you will never be able to completely turn the unsupportive, bitter people away ??‍♀️ ______________________________________ So, the reason I am doing social media is to build a likeminded community that supports eachother & exchanges their thoughts. Communication. That's what inspires me to do music! & hopefully I am able to convert some of those bitter people into more supportive humans along the way ? Why do you do Instagram?
