Jackson #Pollock’s ‘Untitled’ from 1951 captures the artist working through a major stylistic development. Notable for the density of its soaked color in vibrant ambers, yellows and rich blacks, the work foreshadows canvases such as ‘Blue Poles’ and ‘Convergence’ that Pollock would complete the following year.
