Not only was Gus reunited with his favorite sink, he had a great checkup. His echocardiogram results were the same as 6 months ago, so that's good. His heart sounds great and he even gained back about a half a pound. At this point his meds are doing the job. Next step is 6 months from now he will get an ultrasound and a Holter monitor again. If those come out ok, he will then only need yearly appointments. Of course I have to keep a close eye on him for any problems, but as I've said before it's very easy to tell when he's not feeling well. Overall a good day, if you don't count Hank's utterly predictable reaction when we came home.
