I remember one time this older boy in my neighborhood(he was about 9/10 I was like 6/7), Marshon, pushed me into the woods. We were playing and I was speaking my mind like usual and he got mad and pushed me trying to humiliate me. I told him he had the evil in him honey! (I was a super churchy kid haha I would give people the cross back then ??‍♀️) But, I wasn’t scared then and I’m still not. As I grew older I was faced with many Marshon’s. They would not use their hands to push me down but their words, which is sometimes more lethal. I learned that I can see a man before me but that doesn’t mean there isn’t an insecure little boy inside unable to see a woman’s strength as an asset but instead a challenge to break. AKA f*ck em’ BE A BOSS ???
