Learning a very special prayer from my hero and teacher @mam_somaly_ . For all of my girls in Cambodia who have survived human-trafficking, for all survivors around the world, for EACH OF YOU and for all of my fellow humans, I learn to pray that the love I feel can be shared. It doesn’t mean we don’t hurt people, it doesn’t mean people don’t hurt us. It doesn’t mean we don’t feel anger, it doesn’t mean others don’t create anger around us. It doesn’t mean we will not suffer, it doesn’t mean those we love won’t suffer, too. It simply means that when we move beyond these experiences, at the end of the day as we lay our heads down to sleep, we return to love. Love in its truest form holds no conditions. That means there are no judgments on ourselves or others when we return to love. We will leave this Love in moments. We are human after all. The key is to return. The key is to allow Love to find its way back home: inside your heart. From my heart to yours, I send you this prayer and all of my love.
