Morris is mostly known for giving his name to specialty wallpapers (he was a ground breaking designer of them in the 1800s) but was also an accomplished author and designer of church interior. He was a a complex character: Oxford educated from a wealthy family, a prominent socialist, and an accomplished artist in his lifetime.
